Why we made Cami#

In the first weeks with a newborn, you open a baby tracker dozens of times a day, often at 3 a.m. with one free hand and not much sleep. We wanted that app to be the easy part of the day: simple, calm, and a pleasure to use.

So we made Cami ourselves, and we use it for our own family every day. It is the app we wanted when we searched for one.

Who we are#

We are Ricardo and Isabela. We are from Mexico, and we have lived in Seattle since 2020. We are new parents, and longtime dog parents to Pepé. When the Seattle summer comes, you will find us on a paddleboard, or at Marymoor Park with Pepé.

Ricardo is a Staff Software Engineer with more than ten years in the industry, much of it on iOS apps used by billions of people. Cami gets that same care, from two people who use it every night.

What we care about#

Details that save you effort. Life with a baby means you often log things after they happen. The time picker offers quick choices like 5 or 15 minutes ago, and the times your recent entries ended, so the time you need is usually already there. Timers keep counting on your Lock Screen, and Siri can start one when your hands are full.
One log for the whole family. Everyone who cares for your baby has their own account in the same family, and what one person logs shows on every phone as it happens. Invite a partner, a grandparent or a nanny with a link or a QR code.
Made for twins and siblings. Each child has their own day, totals and timers, and their own Live Activity on the Lock Screen. Pull down on Home to switch to the other child.
Your data is yours. The app has no ads and no analytics or tracking software, and your data is never sold. You can export your child's log as a file at any time, bring your history from Huckleberry or Nara Baby, and delete everything when you want. The privacy page gives the details.

Cami at a glance#

What it is: a baby tracker for feeds, sleep, diapers, pumping, solids, growth, temperature, medicine and vaccines, shared live with your family.
Where: iPhone, with iOS 26 or later.
Countries: the App Store in the United States and Mexico. We want Cami in every country we can bring it to, fully translated.
Languages: English and Spanish (Latin America). More languages are on the way.

What Cami costs#

Cami is free, and it stays free for now. Later we plan a generous free version and an optional paid plan for families who want more or want to support Cami. If a feature you use becomes paid, we will tell you in advance, and your logs stay yours.
