Feeding intervals and wake windows (windows, not reminders)

The pill reads, for example, Feeding in 32m or Sleep in 23m. It is a window, not an alarm.

What the pill shows

• Feeding in… counts down to when the feeding window opens. When it opens, the pill reads Feeding.
• Sleep in… counts down to the late end of the wake window.

The ring around the glyph fills as the wait runs. When both windows apply, the pill shows the one that opens first. When a window closes, the pill goes away.

Tap the pill to open Up Next, which shows each window with its times.

How Cami works out the feeding window

• It starts from the start of the last feed (nursing or bottle). A feed that is still running counts too.
• It adds your child’s interval: the time from the start of one feed to the start of the next. The window opens at the short end of that range.
• It uses the night interval when most of the wait falls in the night, as set in More, Day & Night.

• Automatic uses typical spacing for your child’s age. Milk picks the column: Cami reads it From recent feeds, or you choose Breast milk, Formula or Both.
• Manual lets you set Daytime feeds and Night feeds yourself.
• Turn off Feeding intervals to hide the feeding window.

How Cami works out the wake window

A wake window runs from the end of one sleep to the start of the next. It applies in the daytime only, and a running sleep ends it.

Open More, Wake Windows to change it. The screen has a Beta label.

• Automatic uses a typical range for your child’s age and widens it as your child grows.
• Manual lets you set Wind down from and the late end yourself.
• Turn off Wake windows to hide the wake window.

Who sees it

Both settings belong to each child and are the same for everyone in your family. Both are on when you add a child.

Troubleshooting

I don't see the Up Next pill

The pill shows only while a window is coming or open. It needs a feed or a sleep logged, and Feeding intervals or Wake windows turned on. Wake windows do not apply at night.

Can Cami remind me when it is time to feed or nap?

No. Cami shows these windows on Home but sends no notifications for them.
