Is Cami free? Founding Family and referrals
Yes. Cami is free during early launch. Bring three new families to Cami and yours becomes a Founding Family: everything Cami ever makes, free forever.
There is no paid plan today. If features you use become paid later, you’ll get notice and time to adjust, and your logs stay yours to open.
What a Founding Family is
A Founding Family keeps every Cami feature free, for good. Families earn it by bringing other families to Cami. Once earned, it’s yours for good. Nothing is taken away.
The status belongs to the whole family. Everyone in your family has a link, and the credits add up for all of you: three families between everyone.
Share your link
- Open More, Become a Founding Family.
- Tap Share your link and send it to another parent.
A referral counts when a new parent opens your link, creates their own family and adds a baby. If they install Cami first, ask them to tap your link again after installing. That’s what connects you.
Your progress shows on the same screen. Once your family has earned it, the row on More reads Founding Family.
If someone referred you
Your family starts with one credit, and the family who sent the link gets one too.
- During setup: answer Yes, a friend sent me a link to Did someone refer you to Cami?, then enter their code. Or tap their link again once Cami is installed.
- After setup: open More, Become a Founding Family, tap Were you referred? at the bottom, paste their link and tap Add referral. You can do this within 14 days of creating your account.
A family can be referred once.

It says a referral can only be added within 14 days
The 14 days count from when you created your account. After that, a referral can’t be added.
It says the link belongs to my own family
Links from your own family don’t count. Ask the parent who told you about Cami for their link.
It says it's a family invite link
That link joins you to someone’s family. A referral link looks like camibaby.com/refer/… Ask your friend for the link under Share your link.
It says my friend hasn't finished setting up Cami
Their link only works once they’ve set up their own family. Ask them to finish, then try again.
