A Live Activity isn't showing or is stuck

Most often, Live Activities are turned off for Cami, in iOS or in Cami. Check these in order.

1. Turn them on in iOS

Open the iOS Settings app, tap Apps, then Cami, and turn on Live Activities.

When this is off, Cami’s own settings say Turned off in iOS Settings and Cami can’t show cards.

2. Turn them on in Cami

Open More, Settings, Live Activities and check:

• Show Live Activities is on.
• The timer you expect, for example Sleep timer, is on.
• Only show my sessions is off, if you want to see timers your partner starts.

Then check the child: open More, Children, the child and make sure Live Activities is on.

3. Open Cami

Open Cami and wait a few seconds. Each time it opens, Cami compares the cards on your iPhone with the family’s log. It adds a card that is missing and ends one that is stuck, for example after your partner stopped the timer.

A partner’s timer reaches your Lock Screen through Cami on your iPhone. Open Cami at least once after you install it or sign in, so it can receive them.

4. Still wrong

• The card shows a timer that already ended: open Cami, then lock the iPhone again.
• Changed Only show my sessions and a partner’s card is still there: it goes away the next time that timer changes.
• Nothing helps: tell us in More, Settings, Send Feedback. Turn on Include diagnostic logs so we can see what happened.
