An entry is missing on the other phone
Check that both phones show the same family and the same child, then open Cami on both with a connection. Most missing entries are on another child.
On this page
Check these in order.
1. Same family, same child
On both phones, look at the name at the top of Home. It must be the same child. Tap the name to switch.
Then open More on both phones. The family name at the top must be the same. If one phone shows a different family, that person joined or created another family. Tap the child’s name on Home and pick the child under the right family, or join the right family: see Join your family on Cami.
2. Both phones online
An entry logged with no connection stays on that phone until it is back online with Cami open. Open Cami on the phone that logged it, with Wi-Fi or mobile data on. Then open Cami on the other phone.
If the phone that logged it shows Sync issue — retrying, Cami is still trying. Wait for a connection.
3. An entry stayed on one phone
If the phone that logged it showed “Couldn’t sync — kept on this iPhone”, or More, Settings shows a Not synced row, Cami could not send that entry.
- Check that the iPhone’s date and time are set automatically. A clock set ahead can make the family log refuse an entry.
- Tell us in More, Settings, Send Feedback so we can look.
4. Cami is up to date
If one phone says This version can’t talk to the server any more. Install the latest one to keep logging., tap Update Cami and install the update from the App Store.
Still missing
Someone may have deleted or edited the entry. Deletes reach every phone. Open Timeline, find the day, and log it again if you need to.
