Import your Huckleberry history

Before you start

• Add your child in Cami first. Each import goes into one child’s history.
• Use Cami on the iPhone that will receive Huckleberry’s email, or save the file to the Files app where that iPhone can reach it.
• Huckleberry exports one child at a time. With two or more children, export and import once for each.

1. Get the file from Huckleberry

Huckleberry sends the export by email. These are the steps Huckleberry describes in its own help center (Can I export my data from the app?, checked 25 September 2026):

2. Import the file into Cami

In Cami 1.2: open More › (your child)'s Data, then tap Import from Huckleberry.

You can also reach your child’s data from More, Children: tap the child, then Manage Data.

If you have just installed Cami, setup offers the same import. Answer Yes, I’m coming from another app and Cami shows Bring your history, where you can choose the file before your child is created.

What comes across

Imported entries go into your child’s history for the whole family. Everyone in your family sees them on their own phone.

What does not come across

• Growth, temperature, tummy time and screen time. Cami skips these rows and counts them in the summary. You can log growth and temperature in Cami from now on.
• Who logged each entry. Every imported entry shows you under Logged by, because you ran the import.
• A sleep that was still running when you exported. A sleep with no end time is skipped.

Import again without duplicates

Importing the same file twice adds nothing twice: the summary tells you which entries were already in your child’s history. If you changed an entry in Huckleberry after your first import, the changed row arrives as a new entry beside the old one. Delete the old one in Cami if you need to.

Troubleshooting

Cami says the file doesn't look like an export from Huckleberry, Nara Baby or Cami

Choose the CSV exactly as Huckleberry sent it. A file you opened and saved again in a spreadsheet app, or a PDF, can fail. Export again from Huckleberry and import the new file. More help: The import did not work.

The download link in Huckleberry's email does not work

The link stops working after 24 hours. In Huckleberry, tap Export tracking data as CSV again to get a new email.

I chose Huckleberry, but my file is from another app

Cami reads the file, not the row you tapped. If the file is a Nara Baby or Cami export, Cami imports it anyway and the summary names the app it came from.
